The way we portray ourselves online, for professional as well as academic reasons have changed over the past decade, more so with the development of social media, online network sites like LinkedIn and blogging. All these techniques can be strategically developed in a Personal Online Brand.

Maeve Ahern, a marketing and communications professional as well as a MA Digital Arts and Humanities student, is currently researching Personal Online Branding. A 2 hour workshop will be held on Tuesday, 23rd June from 10 am in the ORB, G27B.
This workshop will examine the use of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media platforms as ways to create, develop and manage your online persona. She will also examine the ways to expand a network of peers with these tools and ways to create a CV.
